Greetings Nobles:
Hope you are enjoying a snowy spring and getting ready to trade the snow shovel for the mower.
The annual Screening Clinic is on target for May 3rd and we have a few children to evaluate for help. Not too late to line up some more!! Check around. Join us at the screening. It will be from 9AM till noon at the Panhandle Health Clinic at 322 Marion Ave. Phone 263-5159 for an appointment. The Doctor will be seeing children about 15 minutes apart. Wear your Fez.
While the Club will not be selling Vidalia Onions this year, there may be some available through Moyie Shrine Club. I am planning on having 15 boxes for those who "Gotta Have 'Em". Not enough for a fund raiser, but some anyway. They are supposed to arrive about May 2nd. Let me know if you want some.
We will be needing help on some Club Activities and Fund Raisers. Look toward helping the Lodge at the breakfast and brats at Lost in the '50's on Saturday, May 17th. After the parade on July 4th, we will have a Picnic at Bernie's. Bird Museum's Fund Raiser is on July 5th; Steak and Corn Feed in August, and a few other activities for which our Club will be able to contribute toward helping Children.
The Golf Tournament on June 6th is getting close. The prize list has been growing and there is still room for more players. More sponsors would also be welcome. There is a list of volunteers to help out during the tournament and more would be welcome.
It is a great pleasure to me to have so much participation from club members. I hope you will be able to come to the next meeting scheduled for May 10th, 9:00 AM at the Lodge.
Fraternally, George Hepburn, President
Panhandle Shrine Club
